8. Subscriptions and Payments
All financial transactions associated with subscriptions and other charges related to our services are handled by reputable third parties, such as Stripe. We do not observe and store your credit card or bank details, even when they are provided through our applications. Such sensitive information is collected via secure means and we rely on our partners to securely handle such transactions on our behalf and they are responsible for its safe-keeping.
Such information is provided directly to Our third-party payment processors whose use of Your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy. These payment processors adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information. This generally means that your sensitive financial data is handled in a way that is conformant with the industry standards. However, we do not have direct responsibility and access to such data.
We may require additional data from you (especially for business customers) to handle tax matters in the global context. We do have a responsibility to share purchase information with your tax authorities as required by applicable laws.
